Fan Wei portrayed a film projectionist in the western countryside in the 1960s and 1970s in One Second. Through his precise understanding of the role, he shaped multiple facets of the character with a performance full of period texture, intermingling the actor's personalized qualities with the character well, and portraying the smoothness and worldliness of the little man and the goodness of the depths of human nature in a specific environment. The Best Supporting Actor Award is hereby presented.
One Second. Film Introduction:
The movie tells the story of Zhang Jiusheng, who didn't make it to the movie, and Liu's daughter, who bonded over a movie. The story is inspired by director Zhang Yimou's early experiences, in his usual style of reminiscing and searching for the roots of culture.
