Film Introduction
Based on the novel of the same name by Hong Ying and set in Chongqing, the movie tells the story of Dou Xiaoming, a 14-year-old boy who is injured in 1976, and meets Jiahui, a nurse who takes care of him and cares for him. Jiahui is a beautiful woman, but she is married to a local gangster named Steel, who often suffers from domestic violence. When Dou Xiaoming learns of this, he comes forward to fight for her, and this changes the fate of all three of them.
