Film Introduction
The story takes place in Chile in 1976. Wealthy Carmen travels to the beach to oversee the renovation of her villa, where her husband, children and grandchildren are returning for winter vacation. One day, after being introduced to a local priest, Carmen, who as a young woman dreamed of becoming a doctor, helps a young man who has been injured. Little does she know that her comfortable life is about to change forever because of this boy she has never met.
