Film Introduction
Esther is a picture book author and Thomas is an illustrator. Esther is attracted to Thomas's quiet, quirky charm, while Thomas is overwhelmed by Esther's wild passion, and the two of them are brought together by lightning. Years later, however, a sudden disaster befalls the family. It's a particularly bad day, and as Thomas struggles to keep things together, he can't help but reminisce about the first day he met Esther.
