Film Introduction
Set in a small mountain town in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas, the movie tells the story of three women with different identities and backgrounds whose destinies are intertwined here. Mira, a young pregnant woman, is caught in a labyrinth of desire and loss; Devji, a widow with a bad behavior, sits in a wheelchair every day and is full of accusations against the world; and Durga, a godly old woman, lives every day in a state of hallucination. This community is a world of primitive impulses, desires and fears, a human wilderness where there is no respite and no future.
