A phone call forced Ollie, who was working alone in Beijing, to put down her job and rush back to her hometown Macau. Her beloved grandmother, who brought her up, is seriously ill and needs to be taken care of, making Ollie, a freelance writer, the perfect person to take care of her. While the grandchildren and grandparents rekindle the joys of their early childhood, Olli's creative struggles and career stagnation make her feel anxious, and in some moments, her grandmother seems to be the reason for her slowing down. The complex emotions of care, exhaustion, understanding, irritation, tolerance and love are intertwined in the grandparent-grandchild relationship, and the emotions of the two generations of women are full of real thickness.
