Film Introduction
After her daughter is kidnapped, Chinese lawyer Chen Zhiqi (Zhang Xiaofei) receives a mysterious phone call demanding that she plead not guilty to a death row inmate within five days, or else she will tear up the ticket! When Chen Zhiqi is forced to team up with police officer Jin Zhixiong (Li Hongqi) to investigate the case, she is challenged by the family of the deceased, Lin Shu'e (Hui Yinghong), who questions her defense of the death row inmate. Chen Zhiqi cannot afford to lose this defense, which is a matter of her daughter's life and death! However, as the case deepens she realizes that she is caught up in another conspiracy.
