The life of a family of three changed when the father, Wei Ming, was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. On the surface, the peaceful family is shrouded in gloom. Mom Muling carries the burden of the family, but is not understood by her father and son. The son, Yiming, receives an acceptance letter from an American university, but does not dare to tell his parents.
