Margaret, 35, has a history of violence and lives with her mother, Cristina. Christina is 55 years old, fragile and naïve, and blames her eldest daughter, Margaret, for the loss of her dream of becoming a pianist. During an argument, an enraged Margaret struck her mother, Cristina, which led to legal intervention. While awaiting trial, Margaret was forbidden to have contact with her mother or to come within 100 meters of her mother's home. This, in turn, intensified her desire to be close to her family, and every day, Marguerite appeared at this 100-meter limit to visit her 12-year-old sister, Marion, and to give her music lessons.
