The story takes place in a special world where people live in a movie and society is divided into three classes: protagonists, supporting characters, and losers. As a "supporting character", Paula is never seen in the background, but she has always aspired to be a "main character". However, just before the final test, Paula's "mind reader" suddenly malfunctions. Without a soundtrack to render her emotions, will Paula be able to make it to the next level? Dreamspace is an anti-utopian meta-movie for moviegoers, full of retrospectives and jokes about the history of cinema, and the small supporting characters who "can't live for more than a minute" have their own sad and happy lives.
