Film Introduction
In 1981, nine-year-old Kate lives in a large family in the Irish countryside, where she has been neglected due to too many siblings. Because her mother is about to give birth again, Kate is temporarily sent to a distant relative's home for the summer. Kate unexpectedly adapts to this environment, where the gentle couple teaches Kate to live with nature and to reconcile with her quiet self. However, there is a sad secret in this quiet family.
