Film Introduction
The New York City underworld is in a state of flux. The Corleone family, led by Vito Corleone, kills and burns, but never sells drugs, which has led to a feud with the drug cartel's Sollozzo. Vito's oldest son, Sonny, has a fiery temper and is considered the perfect successor, while his youngest son, Mike, has just been honorably discharged from World War II and wants nothing to do with the family business.
