Film Introduction
Gabe is a novelist stuck on alcohol and drugs who returns to Johannesburg after his family's breakup, hoping to reconnect with his son. Roxanne is a young independent film producer on the upswing of her career. However, after a one-night stand she discovers she is pregnant. Since legal abortion is banned during the epidemic, she has to seek solace in her new friend Gabe. In the age of the epidemic, they persist in finding their lives amidst uncertainty and disappointment.
