"Urantana's Vacation

创作阐述

This is a coming-of-age story of a Mongolian girl who faces trade-offs when her homeland complex collides with her family's interests. Like a prose poem, it is calm and soothing, narrating the starry vignettes of life that Tana experiences during a summer vacation. The characters in the story have different expectations and hardships in life, and choose different ways of living, but deep down the fondness for the past and the rustic feelings are common, which is the most moving part of the story. My creative philosophy is to create naturalistic characters first, quietly observing the subtle emotions and changes in the state of affairs of the characters as they go about their daily lives. The tone of the movie will be simple, showing the innocence of a child, the confusion of an adult, the peace of an old man, and the blend of poetry and life on the prairie. This is an elegy for the passing of time felt through the tender emotions of children, conveying a sentimental nostalgia to the audience.
