Director's Profile

A native of Xiamen, Fujian Province, he holds a Master's Degree from the Department of Cinematography at Shih Hsin University in Taipei. In 2024, he graduated from the Literature Department of the Beijing Film Academy, and wrote his first feature-length screenplay focusing on the culture of Southern Fujian's Bu Bu Dai Opera, entitled "Moving Another Opera". His short film "Looking for a Dream Builder" won the first prize in the Zhang Shao Lin Short Film Competition, and his documentary short films include "Pulling No Face". He has been engaged in film exhibitions for 8 years, served in the Golden Rooster Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Film Festival, served as the final judge of the 35th Hundred Flowers Award, and planned and organized the "Xiamen-Malaysia-Penang Friendship Cities Film Festival" in 2023, which promotes the international dissemination of Chinese film culture, etc. He has also worked as a film critic for the "Xiamen-Malaysia Penang Friendship Cities Film Festival".
