synopsis
A poem of musical images in the life of a boy named Art (Senet) in the village of Kokchor.
The Taklamakan is the only place where the four major civilizations of mankind and the three major musical systems of the world converge. Here music is regarded as: "the salt of the earth", and as it has been chanted for thousands of years to the eternal desert, the sun and the river, the music that reaches heaven and earth through fire and light releases a power that is sufficient to make people solemn. The Music of the Village returns to the place from which we first set out, and is itself a dastan (epic) of ancient narrative.
The village of Kokchoele is holding a great Maisielep performance, people are reveling, at this time, a music master died, the village heard the chant "a scholar died, a village died", at the same time, at the same time, at the scene of the performance, a baby boy was born, in order to commemorate the death of the master musician the villagers decided to give him the name of "Art (Senet)". The boy grows up in 12 mukams: "My sattar is strung with the bond of life, it can comfort misfortune and give it pathos and poignancy", and like his name "Art (Senet)", he will become a part of the village and the people's lives. Like his name "Art (Senet)", he will become a part of the "music" that is closely related to the lives of the people in this village.
