Today, middle-aged Ren Shucheng is muddling through a lonely life. He receives a surprise visit from young video bloggers Da Cong and Mourning Sister, who tell him that the recent discovery of three fast ray burst signals by an observatory has attracted global attention. These three signals were "divinely predicted" by a retired novel, "The Boy Who Flew to the Stars".
