The Gaw Box

创作阐述

I was under the impression that death was a topic of frequent conversation among Tibetans, and that everyone would prepare accordingly, but how would a widow or an elderly man prepare for his afterlife? How would an elderly widow prepare for his own afterlife? How would he resolve the fate of his body and soul? My story takes this as a clue to the confusion faced by widows and orphans in the process of "making appointments for death".

故事大纲

Dongbu, an elderly man living alone, saw his peers gradually passing away, and thinking that his days were numbered, he felt that he had to have someone to organize a decent funeral after his death. So, Dongbu first found a living Buddha, asked him to go to the supernatural after his death, but also decided to give the right to enjoy his own grassy hill to the village for him to handle the other aftermath. However, Dongbu didn't plan for the fact that the living Buddha who was supposed to visit him suddenly passed away before his death. What he didn't realize was that the right to the grassy hill after his death would cause a dispute between distant relatives and the village, completely ignoring the fact that he was still alive.
