影片简介
After his wife attempted suicide, Nikola's two children, who were casual laborers, were also forced to leave him and placed with foster parents. At first, this was a temporary arrangement, however, after assessing Nikola's housing conditions, the director of the social welfare office in the small Serbian village decided that Nikola was too poor to provide a good living environment for his children. The taciturn Nikola decides to file a complaint with the Ministry of Social Affairs in Belgrade and decides to walk 300 kilometers to the capital to show the authorities that he is willing to go to great lengths for his children. Director Golubovic tells the audience this story of inequality by presenting real, moving images. The protagonist, Nikolai, not only measures the country with his calm and resilient character, but also explores the boundaries between right and wrong. Determined not to give in to despair, this tenacious father embarks on a heroic journey to redefine the word "hero".
