The sky is cold and the earth is freezing. Yin Shou (Fei Xiang), the second prince of Shang, is leading a brigade of hostages and a large army of Yin merchants to conquer the rebellious Marquis of Jizhou, Su Gu, when he inadvertently unseals a demon fox in the tomb of Xuanyuan. The demon fox possesses Daji (Na Ran), the daughter of Su Gu, and is brought back to Chaoguo by Yin Shou to present to her father and brother.
