Film Introduction
Exchange student Li Xiaoli comes to Japan to study for a year in Fuchinohe, a remote area of Tokyo. He is a dull and slow-witted man who wants to work, but he is always in trouble. Finally, with the help of his old classmate Qiu Qiu, he finds a Chinese restaurant called "Nan Guo Ting". The acting manager, Guan Wei, takes him in; the staff, Aoki, treats him as a love rival; the chef, Lao Wan, and the junior chef, Song, all treat him with disdain...
