Film Introduction

When Salvo was five years old, his father Vincenzo was arrested and imprisoned, after which he was sent to live with his aunt. A few years later, Vincenzo, released from prison, brings Salvo back to himself. Father and son are strangers to each other, but together they must set out for southern Italy to fulfill Vincenzo's final mission. As traveling companions, father and son must finally face an inescapable relationship, and it is only during this long journey that they seem to discover what each other really means to them.
