The Kadir's family business is not doing well and is experiencing cash flow problems; and then, as if on cue, a worker is seriously injured in the factory. The family weighs the legal consequences of the incident and decides that if the worker's wife cannot be persuaded to sign a waiver, one of the family members will have to be blamed and flee the country to avoid jail time. Kadir is conscious of the need to sacrifice for his family, but his reasoning tells him not to, as he is about to get married.
