Film Introduction
November 2015, the Mejila Mountains in Tunisia. After a jihadist group attacks two young shepherds, 14-year-old Ashraf is forced to bring the terrible news home. In the shadow of trauma, Ashraf struggles to keep his sanity, but is forced to confront the powerlessness of his elders and the abandonment of the authorities. Inspired by true events, the movie explores Ashraf's mental state and emotional journey after dealing with such a harrowing experience.
