Film Introduction
The back kitchen of a New York restaurant is where chefs, helpers, and waiters from all over the world converge during the lunch rush. One of the chefs, a young Mexican named Pedro, is a dreamer and a troublemaker, while falling in love with Julia, a waitress. During a lunch rush, cash goes missing from the restaurant's cash register, all the employees are questioned, and Pedro is actually accused of stealing the money to give Julia an abortion ------ The story begins to move towards an untenable point.
