Film Introduction

Winter is always long and hard in a remote, snow-covered town in Turkey, with roads blocked and isolated by snow. There are rumors that bears have awakened early from their hibernation and are on the prowl for food. Even though no one has actually seen them, the residents are worried that they will come to town soon. Asli, a young nurse, has recently been assigned to fulfill her mandatory service in this town. One cold night, one of the town's men goes missing, which causes all sorts of rumors. Asley also finds herself falling step by step into the whirlwind of secrets and suspicions associated with it.
