Film Introduction
Clara is a successful 39-year-old woman living alone in Berlin after her divorce, continuing her doctoral dissertation on Hegel and teaching philosophy at a university. But underneath her success lies a lot of secrets and problems: in addition to her teenage daughter, she has a secret love affair with a student and a relationship with her tutor, all of which make her anxious. She also has to deal with her own problems as a "problem solver" and her ties to her native village.
