Film Introduction
By chance, two Spanish women, one old and one young, met in a Belgian ward. Maria immigrated to Belgium when she was young and has lived here for decades, while the young girl, Veronica, has recently arrived in search of a job opportunity. During their time in the ward, they develop a marvelous friendship that leads Maria to embark on a journey back to southern Spain with a special mission.
