An increasingly aging society has forced Japan to introduce a bill called the "75 Plan," which encourages people over the age of 75 to contribute to the nation by choosing euthanasia on their own. When a senior colleague collapsed at work, Michi, a 78-year-old widow, lost her job and later found out that she would not be able to keep her home. She began to wonder if she should apply for the "75 program" to end her suffering. On the other hand, two Plan 75 staff members, after a series of painful experiences, began to question the legitimacy of the bill.
