Three days of fish.
Directed by Peter Hogendorn Written by Peter Hogendorn
Hurley, who lives far away from home with his second wife, returns to Rotterdam every year for a routine medical check-up. During this three-day reunion, he meets his son Dick, who is longing for affection. However, the old father stubbornly avoids any in-depth communication with his son. Using the proverb "It's good to see each other, but hard to get along with each other" as a guide, the film depicts the complex and subtle emotions between a father and son with a dry sense of humor.
