Film Introduction
Elderly women who have lost their homes due to forced evictions, middle-aged women who are constantly separated from their husbands who work far away in Germany, and young girls who fall in love with a Muslim boy - three generations of women living in Mumbai each face their own dilemmas in life. They come to a remote seaside town that seems to give them room to breathe and dream.
