Film Introduction
Joy lives in Manila with her 6-year-old daughter, Angel, and her husband, Dante, who is a thieving gangster. As usual, Dante came home at night drunk and beat up Joey. This time, he also hurt his daughter, Angel. Joy takes her daughter and flees to the local police station, this time determined to put her husband in jail. But she also knew that in the best case scenario, justice would take time; in the worst case scenario, justice might not be served. So she is well aware that she and her daughter are increasingly under threat.
