Film Introduction
According to medieval legend, Wendtinis are water spirits who will kill the man they are united with if he betrays them and return to the water. The film's eponymous heroine, a lecturer at the Berlin City Development Agency, is cheated on and falls in love with Christopher, a diver, by mistake, but it seems that there is no way to escape their destiny, so that the two couples have a deeper understanding of the true meaning of love.
