Margaret, 35, has a history of violence and lives with her mother, Christina. Christina, 55, fragile and childish, blamed her eldest daughter, Margaret, for the destruction of her dream of becoming a pianist. During an argument, an enraged Margaret struck Christina, which led to legal involvement. While awaiting trial, Margaret was forbidden to have contact with her mother or come within 100 meters of her mother's home. Instead, this intensified her desire to be close to her family, and every day, Marguerite appeared at this 100-meter boundary to visit her 12-year-old sister, Marion, and give her music lessons.
